Oakland Christian Football Wins Second in a Row 43-0

The Oakland Christian Lancer Football team improved its record to 2-0 with a 43-0 win over Detroit Public Safety Academy on Friday night.  The Lancer defense held Public Safety to less than 100 yards in total offense while recording its first shutout of the year.

The offense was led by the offensive line of Tom Ruzycki, Theo Schleben, Carter Lewis, Reece McConnell, and Christian Campbell.  The offensive line allowed no sacks and allowed Josh Siminski to complete 6 of 8 passes for 153 yards and 4 touchdowns.  Angelo Scafone had 2 touchdown catches, and interception, and a sack.  Seth Williams had a highlight reel catch for a touchdown and an interception.

The Lancers visit Lutheran Northwest on September 15th for a key MIAC matchup.
