Meet Recap

The OCS Boys’ cross-country team opened its 2017 season with the Oakland University Golden Grizzly Invitational. An unusually cool morning greeted the runners as they faced the 4K course. In the JV race, sophomore Preston McFarland ran an astounding 10 minutes faster than in his first race last year. Also in the JV race, juniors Josh Smielewski and Carl Englemann made their OCS debuts. Noah Camaj was the top OCS finisher in the varsity race, in a time of 14:29. All returning runners showed improvement, notably Eli King, who cut over 2 1/2 minutes off his time last year.
