Meet Recap

The OCS boys’ cross-country team captured the second place trophy for the small school division at the Genesee Invitational. Four OCS individuals won medals in the varsity race: Connor Patten 7th (in 20:01), Tim Dupree 8th, Ryan Gurney 9th, and Jack Bobo 10th. Seven of the nine OCS varsity runners ran their personal best 5K times, most by over 1 minute.
Preston McFarland made the most of his opportunity to run varsity and set his personal best by over 2 minutes. In the JV race, freshman Aaron Pomaville was the top OCS finisher, debuting in a time of 24:15, and David Gammon ran over 5 minutes faster than his time on the same course last year.
