Lancers News · 9/4-9/9 Middle and Elementary School Recap and Upcoming Events

Middle school and elementary School athletics had a busy week last week. Here are the results from last week:

Boys soccer had a busy week. They went 0-2-1 losing two close ones to Inter-City Baptist (2-3) and Roeper (1-2). They battled hard against Parkway Christian and came back from being down 4-1 to end in a 5-5 tie.

The 6th/7th grade volleyball team continued their winning ways, beating Parkway Christian 3-0.

The 8th grade volleyball team bounced back from their loss to beat Parkway 3-0.

Middle school cross country had their first meet this past Saturday at Genesee Christian. All the boys improved their previous times and both girls took home ribbons. Emmakate Zanoli took home 9th place and Karis Keith got 10th place. Congratulations girls!

Holy Family football, who was kind enough to take in our boys this season, had a great weekend. 8th grade had a dominant showing with a 22-0 win. 7th grade won 6-0 and 6th grade also had a shutout with an 8-0 win.

Elementary girls basketball started their season off last week with a tough loss to Parkway Christian 8-16.

The 3rd/4th grade football team lost a tough one Saturday to Monroe Catholic Elementary School 7-13.
