Meet Recap

The OCS Boys’ Cross-Country team finished in 8th place today at the Holly Invitational, scoring 188 points. Junior Noah Camaj and senior Riley Gottschalk won individual medals to lead the Lancers, finishing 7th in 18:22 and 33rd in 19:57 respectively. Seniors Connor Patten and Jack Bobo, and sophomore Tim Dupree rounded out the scorers for OCS.

Despite the heat and humidity, junior Eli King shaved 40 seconds off his personal best to win an individual ribbon in the JV race. Junior Cameron Lewis also won a ribbon, while junior David Gammon cut 4 minutes off last year’s time for this race.

MIAC opponent Plymouth Christian Academy had the top 2 individuals in the race and was the top team, scoring 80 points.
