Multiple Teams · OCS Volleyball Defeats Roeper, Leads MIAC

Tuesday evening, the Lady Lancer volleyball went on the road and defeated Roeper, 3-0, keeping their record unscathed in conference play.

The Lancers started the evening with a strong service run by Kaylee Page in the first set.  Kaylee began serving with the score tied 4-4, then recorded 15 points including 8 aces, staking the Lancers to a 19-4 lead.  After recording a 25-5 win in the first set, the Lancers completed the sweep with 25-20, and 25-18 wins.

All eleven players on the Lancers’ squad saw game action and contributed to the victory.  Kaylee Page led the team with 10 aces and 9 kills.  Hailee Ide chipped in with 6 kills.  Beana Lucido led the team in digs and was 8 for 8 from the service line.

The Lancers moved to the top of the MIAC league standings at 2-0, and improved their overall record to 5-10-2.  The next home game is a conference tilt against Huron Valley Lutheran on Friday at 5:00.  Come on out and make it a volleyball/football double header.
