Lancers News · Lancers Softball Falls to Huron Valley Lutheran

The Lady Lancers lost by a foot.  Mackenzie Saylor stroked a double, one foot below the home-run fence. She would knock in two runs on the play and would eventually be stranded at 3B to end the game. The Lady Lancers scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh, proving they will never give up.  Huron Valley Lutheran won the game 7-6 on 12 hits.

Rebekah Crane continues to strike out batters, adding 11 more to her 4-year varsity pitching career at OCS. She also added a stolen base. Mackenzie Saylor went 2 for 2 with 2 walks, a single and a 2 run double off the top of the fence. She also played an excellent game at catcher throwing out a runner. Jackie Hagar went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and an RBI. Allison Brzezinski went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored and a stolen base. Olivia Williams went 1 for 1 with a key hit late in the game.
The Lancers travel to Inter-City on Thursday to avenge their 1 run loss to them earlier in the season. They hope to improve to .500 on the season. The Lancers current record is 5 wins and 6 losses.
