Boys Varsity Football · Lancer Football Defeats Parkway 49-0

The Oakland Christian Varsity Football team won its fourth straight game in impressive fashion, ruining Parkway Christian’s homecoming.  The Lancers led 35-0 at the half.  The entire second half was played with a running clock.

Dual-threat QB Daniel Siminski had another impressive performance throwing for 132 yards and 3 TDs and 105 yards rushing, two touchdowns.  Angelo Scafone had 80 yards receiving.  Jaemin Liebler added 55 yards rushing and Lake Patterson caught a 32-yard touchdown.  Luke Alkire had a fumble recovery and touchdown rushing.
Carter Lewis led the defense and special teams.  He had a blocked punt, knocked down two passes and had a fumble recovery.  The defense recorded its second shutout of the season, limiting Parkway to just one drive inside the 50-yard line.  Mason Kolb again led the team in tackles and caught a TD pass from his TE position.
The victory sets up a big game next week with another undefeated league opponent, Whitmore Lake.
