Oakland Christian travelled to Plymouth Christian for a matchup of division 4 volleyball teams. PCA entered the game as the 9th ranked team in the state, and OCS entered as the 7th ranked team. Momentum ebbed and flowed all night, but when the dust settled, Oakland Christian claimed a 3-2 victory, completing the season sweep over Plymouth.
Led by two time 1st team all-state player, Gabriella Kellogg, PCA used their home court advantage to win the first set, but the Lancers stormed back to win the second and third sets. Facing elimination, Plymouth won the fourth set to force a deciding fifth set.
In the fifth set, Oakland jumped out to an 11-5 lead, but Plymouth was not going to go without a fight. They battled back to tie the score at 14 but Oakland scored the last two points to win, 16-14.

With the win, OCS improves to 7-3 in the tough MIAC Blue conference and guarantees themselves no worse than a third place finish for the season. The MIAC Blue has 4 ranked teams, including #7 in division 3, and #’s 1, 7 and 9 in division 4.
