Middle school athletics have had multiple competitions in the first few weeks of school. OC Volleyball, 2017 Conference Champs

The girls knew what was on the line when they traveled to Inter-City Baptist for the final volleyball contest of the conference season.  Win, and the Lady Lancers would be the undefeated conference champions.  Lose, and they would be co-champions with the Chargers of Inter-City Baptist. Likewise, the Chargers knew what was on the line.

Lancer VB Defeats Huron Valley Lutheran

Friday evening, the OCS volleyball team defended their home court by defeating conference rival, Huron Valley Lutheran, in straight sets, 25-12, 25-17, 25-17.  The Lancer defense was strong from the start, led by Libero Beana Lucido.  Grace Shelata and Hailee Ide contributed with solid passing on serve receive.  Hailee Ide also led the team with 7 kills

Tuesday evening, the Lady Lancer volleyball went on the road and defeated Roeper, 3-0, keeping their record unscathed in conference play. The Lady Lancers went on the road to Macomb Christian School to open the conference volleyball season on Tuesday, 9/5, and came home victorious.  Macomb Christian jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first set before the Lancers settled in and took control.  OCS won the first set 25-10 and followed that up with 25-17
