Congratulations to Daniel Siminski was named the Metro Detroit Player of the Week in Football. Daniel won the honor by winning a vote over eight other nominees. Daniel received 30,359 votes. Lancers Defeat Whitmore Lake 21-7

Oakland Christian defeated the defending MIAC champions Whitmore Lake Trojans 21-7 in Auburn Hills.  Last year these two teams finished 1 and 2 in the MIAC with Whitmore Lake pounding the Lancers 66-33. Lancer Football Defeats Parkway Christian 40-0

Oakland Christian improved to 2-0 on the season with its second straight shoutout. Dan Siminski rushed for two touchdowns (37 rushing) and threw for three in just over two quarters of play. He finished 12-17 for 232 yards passing. Mason Kolb had 106 yards receiving and Lake Patterson had 55 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns.
